Amy Holomakoff
Ayurveda Counselor Intern
Biography
Amy is studying to be an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and is currently attending the Ayurvedic Clinical Supervision Program at Sevanti Institute.
In her twenties, Amy found herself caught in a cycle of persistent bloating, digestive turmoil, and the invisible weight of an IBS diagnosis. The conventional route offered temporary fixes, but something inside her believed healing was possible, naturally.
Everything shifted when she began working at The Stand, a vegan café in Norwalk, CT. Immersed in clean, plant-based food, Amy felt her body recalibrate. As her health improved, so did her curiosity. She wasn’t just feeling better — she was remembering something ancient, something intuitive. Amy was no longer just healing herself. She was stepping into a calling. Food is one of Amy’s biggest passions, and she has owned her wellness business, The Roadie Chef, for over a decade.
Amy has a passion for herbalism and studied as an apprentice at Wildflower Apothecary in Norwalk, CT under owner Anna Perelli. She continued her herbal studies through Herbal Academy and under instructor KP Khalsa (master formulator for Yogi Teas) at Sevanti Institute. Amy is known locally for her elderberry syrup and teaches seasonal community classes in herbalism.
Amy’s holistic approach to healing often incorporates energy work into her practice. She is a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. Amy is also a movie producer and production coordinator who manages Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk, CT.
